Early in the resort’s conceptual phase all those involved realised that the right choice of hotel operator was going to be of crucial importance for the success of the project. As luck would have it, at precisely this point in time one of the prominent personalities of the hotel trade was also seeking new direction: Horst Schulze. Schulze is considered to be the visionary of the international tourism trade and in 1991 was named ˜corporate hotelier of the world˜ by Hotels Magazine.
