The Schiele, Kokoschka and Klimt buildings and Solitaire Parkvilla are situated in the romantic park of the mansion. The inclusion of the historical structure, well deserving of conservation, in a convincing overall architectural concept posed a challenge of quite a special kind. The unobtrusive yet autonomous architecture is perfectly integrated in the existing ambience and works convincingly thanks to the simplicity of form. The façade of finest sandstone and generous glazed areas highlight the quality of the structural work, where – whether visible or not – truly only the best was good enough.
